Mid Iowa Tools, McNeal Tool Company & Metro Tool & Abrasives company is a regional leader in sourcing products and providing total supply chain solutions. Our capabilities and expertise have been growing since 1974, the year our earliest legacy company was founded.
1974
Mid Iowa Tools is established by Lou Harvieux along with becoming a Gardner Denver Distributor
1975
Mid Iowa Tools became an Incorporated company
1982
McNeal Tool Company is acquired by Mid Iowa Tools to expand our Metrology and Quality Assurance portfolio
1989
Built and moved into current Location
1996
Metro Tool & Abrasives is acquired by Mid Iowa Tools to provide expanded services to Eastern Iowa and Illinois markets
2002
Specialty services were adopted into day to day business
2005
Greg Harvieux purchased the family business from his father
2014
ESD Services was added
